Women
The two main departments of UNIO were the Reference and Research Department (which consisted of a library, publications, and information on post-war planning divisions) and the Public Relations Department (which consisted of the broadcasting, press, films, and exhibitions divisions).
Women were a major informational topic for UNIO and it actively collected and distributed materials on the women of the United Nations and their activities. Photographs below highlight women's contributions on the home and war fronts.
